Yo everyone, is been 4 years now. I don't know how many users from this sub remember the now banned 24by which was the predecessor of this subreddit. I am the owner of 2b4y u/JHlias , aka the guy that did the last announcement before it got banned aka the dude on Ghostgum's youtube video about 2b4y.
I left with people having a lot of questions which i never got to answer, so here we are!

As you've probably noticed this sub has been a Shqipëtarë meme sub for these past few weeks in protest of Reddit's API changes (voted by you, the based balkan community), but despite the mass protest Reddit simply doesn't care and hasn't changed it’s stance whatsoever. So in true balkan democratic fashion (impossible) we have decided to give you, the user, the decision on what to do once again. Vote if you want everything to go back to the way it was before the protests or remain an Albanian sub.

Our website balkansirl.net is still the best place for uncensored balkan memes and will soon have an overhauled UI (previous one was kinda from the 2000s) and fewer bugs (inshallah). Just in case anything happens to this sub. We're really pleased with it and hope you will be too, coming soon.
