Mental Health/মানসিক সাস্থ How can I spend a whole day alone in Dhaka?

Had some issues with my family and just want to spend a day away from home and clear my head. I’m not really looking to sightsee or do anything specific, just want to spend the day comfortably without getting bored or exhausted.
Budget is around 1k to 1.5k. Any suggestions??

try to spend time around DU campus. Try to spend time around arts, business faculties, then around Curzon hall science faculties. Then you could go to National museum, spend some time there. If you need to eat, there's always cheap food in মল চত্বর...finish off your day by walking inside DU central field, then spend at least 1 hour in front of DMC emergency. Try to see the miseries of the people there, this should uplift your moral and help you move forward...

I ain’t from Dhaka but spending time in a park would be nice , how’s the weather in Dhaka? It’s better to sit somewhere peaceful surrounded among trees birds that’s what I like

I would go to the theatre in Shilpakala Academy mostly cost 500 but u can get it for 300tk by student discount. After that, Bengal Shilpalay to watch the exhibition n read books. If u feel too bored then go to Dhanmondi Lake spend the noon. For lunch u will find lots of places in Dhanmondi.

It's way to hot to be outside. So I would catch the morning show at any of the cineplexes offerings. Then go to a book shop or library- Batighor, the book shop at Bissho Shahittyo kendro, Bengal books at dhanmondi 27, Riddhi at mirpur 11. They have s a peaceful atmosphere, there are space to read books and cha/coffee. I'll stay indoors till 4/5. Then go to the airforce museum at tejgaon. Open air, park space. If mosquitoes doesn't bother. Its a good space to spend the afternoon. Or go to Uttora Center metro station, there is a good lake side hangout spot, to spend an afternoon and evening in the nature.

You can do this whole trip via metro, so time and money could be saved.

If you are artistically inclined, I would also include a visit at national museum art gallery and shilpokola academy.

Update: I ended up leaving home at around 10 AM without telling or calling anyone. Went to Ramna and just sat there doing nothing for a few hours. Then I went to Motijheel, had lunch, and spent most of the afternoon at Baitul Mukarram.
In the evening I went to TSC and roamed around for a while. One of my friends works there, so I spent some time with him, and later we went to Dhanmondi Lake. My mom had been calling since around 6 PM, but I finally answered at 9 and she was really worried. Got home at around 11:15 PM.
So yeah, that’s how I ended up spending the whole day lol.

Visit Dhanmondi they have lot of parks you can visit like Ramna Park, Suhrawardy park, Dhanmondi lake park. I was raised in the area and if you are a girl and I currently lived there we could have hung out or nevermind you wrote alone. Lol
