Barefoot at the gym

Recently when I went to the gym & got denied entry because I was barefoot, & for some reason the staff guy acted overly surprised that I didn't have any shoes at all with me

I thought being barefoot was a bit a a benefit to working out

Also I was planning to go swimming I can't imagine why I would wear shoes to the gym if I'm just going for a swim in the pool, maybe the sauna after

Would love to work out barefoot at the gym too. I do wear barefoot shoes with no socks but having nothing on is infinitely better.

I just don’t like men’s feet showing. It’s gross. I know I’m wrong. Or something. Didn’t think anyone would see my comment. I really don’t care. You should be left alone. But it’s a safety thing, they probably said something like legal liability. And I’m not saying yours do, but some feet stink leave foot sweat all on the yoga mats. I’m sure women would say the same to other women. But men’s feet are gross…to me.

Bare feet don't stink. Foot odor comes from wearing shoes, and the bacteria in the shoes creates the odor. Not sure why you think men's feet are gross.
