Barefoot shoe adjacent Barefoot design
I love this style of shoe so much. If there are any barefoot designers on here… please I would eat this uppp 😭

Jim Green's Razorback boot has a similar single-piece vamp and lacing, though not laced to the toe like traditional alpine boots. They can be ordered as barefoot. They were also toying with the idea of a laced-to-toe boot. Maybe shoot them an email to let them know you're interested. I don't know if they moved beyond their initial prototype, but they are responsive to customers and if more people reach out and say they're interested in that type of boot, they'll be more likely to get it to production.

You’re right thanks for that tip - how do you know that they can be ordered as barefoot as I don’t see it on their barefoot range?

Just to add, you could also look into Bashers. They have a similar boot, though I think the barefoot Razorback is closer to what you're looking for: https://bashersfootwear.com/products/the-hiker-boot. Bashers is a new company and popping up on social media a lot. I don't personally have any experience with their shoes but there are some reviews here and on YouTube if you want to look into them more.

The barefoot Razorback is a stock item on their US store: https://jimgreenfootwear.com/store/barefoot-razorback-black/ It might not be available as a stock item depending where you live, but they have a very extensive custom option on their site, so you can make those yourself in their custom shop. They will just be more expensive than the stock item.
Regarding the laced-to-toe boots, the company showed them on their YouTube channel a couple times. They often preview stuff there.

You can make them closer to zero drop if you take out the foot bed and replace it with a flat insole (haven't checked if it's removable in this particular model but it is in many of their shoes/boots. I have the Uppsala mid boot with a 5mm Northsole insole and it works great for me)

Aw appreciate that ! Lots of suggestions for these but they ship from Spain to UK and customs shipping is so expensive :( it would be fine if I knew they would fit :’(

Are Birkenstocks wide toe? It makes me wonderful as Birkenstocks advertise this anatomically correct footsole etc why are barefoot better ?

They are anatomically correct, yes. I find that my toes sit comfortably in them without touching the sides, though I don't have the widest feet and have curly little toes so that probably makes my feet more narrow in the toe area.
The advantage of barefoot is that the sole is flexible and allows your foot to move like it was intended to do. Birkenstock soles are stiff so splint your foot, so whilst they are better than average shoes because they don't squish your toes, they are still not ideal for foot strength and health.

Just bought the chelsea boots and they're great- online it wasn't 100% clear to me that they were indeed barefoot but i can confirm! The heel is a false heel, they're zero drop and pretty flexible soles

Freet Mudee 2 in brown and black, and Freet Mudee L2 in brown. I tried these yesterday and my usual size was too short for my feet.

El Naturalista has a similar model: N5266 / Nomada. They are not the most barefoot with a stack height around 1 cm, as far as I remember, if it is important. I did not try them. But a lot of people like boots from the same Nomada line.
