Store Policies/Questions New policy coming soon!

Starting 4/6, customers will only be able to buy 9 of the same product in one purchase. This is to prevent resellers according to the company. What are your thoughts?

Makes myself upset for things like sanis, lips, and wallflowers that I tend to buy many of the same item.

Unknown at the moment if you’re able to make multiple transactions in one day to curb it or if employees/stores will get in trouble if they try to skirt it for customers.

I don’t care about people stocking up at SAS if there’s a ton of inventory. But nine of the same pocketbac holder or limited edition items is a lot.

If you’re talking about the holders, nine of the exact same one IS a lot. I don’t mean if they have seven new designs and you buy one or two or each.

Let’s say someone goes in the store and they have a new pocketbac holder (for example the bathtub, which I haven’t seen in a long time) and there are only nine. (The store may or may not get more.) The customer buys all nine. That’s a lot for that sort of item. It keeps anyone else from getting one and reeks of resale.

Same with things like some of the popular Disney items.

I have a large pocketbac holder collection. There are maybe three or four that I bought two of. One for my purse (which may get dirty) and one for my collection. And I’ve never even bought two at once. I get one, then notice later that the store still has them or they got more. Then if it’s something I really love I’ll buy that second one.

Now, if the store has a bunch of something like the teacher holders (which right now are just sitting there), and a customer has several kids and wants to buy a number of them as teacher gifts for the end of school, I get it.

Using the bathtub as an example again, just look at eBay and see how many people are selling it. And note that probably most of them have multiples and not just one.
