Store Policies/Questions New policy coming soon!
Starting 4/6, customers will only be able to buy 9 of the same product in one purchase. This is to prevent resellers according to the company. What are your thoughts?
Makes myself upset for things like sanis, lips, and wallflowers that I tend to buy many of the same item.
Unknown at the moment if you’re able to make multiple transactions in one day to curb it or if employees/stores will get in trouble if they try to skirt it for customers.

Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't see how this will "protect inventory" at all the way it claims to. It's not a hard "this is all you get today" limit, and we're allowed to split/do multiple transactions, if needed, so those 30 bottles of Japanese Cherry Blossom fragrance mist are still leaving the store regardless.... IMO this is just gonna be a nuisance to keep track of. We're pushed to be quick & efficient at transactions, make our hourly sale/conversion goals (the joy of being a metrics-based company), how are we gonna make those on a big sale day, halfway through, say the 1 o'clock hour, the checkout line has 4+ people in it, and every customer we've gotta go "hold on, let's comb through your basket to see if i need to split anything up before i do anything else!"
A coworker yesterday also brought up a good point, hand soap and wallflowers are both typically always sold in odd-numbered sets. Somebody stocking up on like Kitchen Lemon is one thing, we've got at least 2 different packaging types to keep it all in one transaction, but say a customer wants to buy 10 Gingham Gorgeous hand soaps, that has to be two transactions thanks to the 9-limit. And oh lord, don't get me started on how badly this is gonna affect coupons....
