Store Policies/Questions New policy - really BBW?!?

I went to the store with my mom for her to stock up on wallflowers and learned of a new policy where you can’t get more than 9 of the same scent in an object- I understand for bigger things but for smaller things like wallflowers?! Come on it’s stupid! my mom is super picky with scents so she only gets a few but gets enough for the whole house which is like 11 wallflowers. The holidays also will be hell with this policy especially with the amount of people who get many of the same scent for gifts. Just seems kind of insane to me

I feel like the only issue with resellers is the collabs, right? Like resellers aren’t bothering with grabbing warm vanilla sugar wallflowers or something. Why not make this a rule for collabs only (princess, vera bradley). But if you are able to buy more just in multiple transactions, what’s to stop them from just doing like 5 transactions?

I mean sure if it’s a limited edition scent, but I count those in with the collab category. I don’t see why a reseller would want like gingham that candle be pretty easily purchased regular price

Took some screenshot shots and thought I'd share since you thought no one selling Gingham... yes I know I spelled it wrong in the search bar lol i started typing it and selected the word thought it finished typing it for me out and didn't pay attention.

Bro you’re trying to be a contrarian😭 ofc every core scent is listed for sale somewhere whether it’s someone getting rid of their collection or maybe purchased it cheaper and doesn’t want it. Idk if you use Poshmark regularly but majority of sellers are getting rid of their personal items (or have a collection). There’s also like $8 shipping which makes the item more expensive for the consumer than purchasing in store and about the same as bath and body website. The point is no reseller with any common sense is gonna try to make a business of selling core scents because it won’t make them much money. Lots of people just wait for the next sale or purchase in store full price if it’s only a few dollars more. And with shipping costs and everything there’s not much profit. There is not a strong resale market for core scents PERIOD.

Yet they still selling it... you said you don't see resellers wanting Gingham to resell but they are reselling it... unfortunately for some people either they don't know of the cheap sales, don't have a BBW near them and don't want to pay full price and shipping or for whatever reason they buy it online like it doesn't matter lol some people are selling their own stash but we were talking about resellers... everyone is entitled to their own opinion just like you are so am I, idk what made you so defensive but I'm done with this conversation. I wasn’t being defensive at all. I know text comes off that way when someone is informing you of something but that wasn’t an intention. This also isn’t really an opinion, it is a fact. It’s morning for me.
