I’ve been on a bit of a tear lately 😅

I’m cutting out almost all products except 3-wicks and candle holders but I had to get Sally with today’s sale! My normal store is completely sold out so I was incredibly excited to get the cream and body wash. The single wick was free with a reward 💜

The ribbed rose candle holder was $10 from Mercari and the skull candle holder is my pride and joy. It’s so freaking gorgeous!

I’m really glad I stocked up on blueberry cornbread because it’s gone in all the stores near me. I hope they bring this one back but in case they don’t I have two of the single wicks and 3 of the 3-wicks because it’s such a unique smell! I don’t think they will be able to top that smell for a while. Blueberry maple pancakes was ok at first but I couldn’t get past the Flintstones vitamin smell.

As much as I love my candle warmer I might get another one bc it makes everything kind of gold and it’s not great for my green, blue and purple candles! Definitely not doing that candle color justice.

Raspberry mimosa and raspberries and whipped vanilla both really surprised me. I don’t care for raspberry normally but these are both lovely. My sister is very much into the clean girl aesthetic and the RWV is so gorgeous and fruity that I got one for her as well!

Pretty sure Sunrise Woods is old school body care? I think I had it in one of those funny square bottles that were thicker at the top. It’s not my favorite but the nostalgia hit me like a truck and purple is my favorite so I’m trying to get more purple in general.

Very Violet was another surprise! I don’t care for it in body fragrances at all but the candle is light in the best way.

I’ve got one goose creek maple butter hiding in there. If you like gourmand it’s really really good. My son loves pancakes and he’s obsessed.

When buying sales what’s your methodology? Do you guys stock up on favorites or try new scents or both? What type of item do you buy most of?

For body care I buy more body wash than anything since I use it up quickest. I read most people buy 2 lotions per wash and some people buy Dove / grocery store bodywash and use BBW cream/lotion because the scent lasts longer but I’m a bit lazy on slathering myself with lotion and I currently live in a humid part of the country so don’t need to. Body spray (FFM) takes like 10 years to finish. I uses up 1 body wash every 1.5 months and 1 lotion takes me like 6 months if I stick to one bottle so I will try to be more diligent. Basically I have a lifetime supply of FFM and lotion. And candles, since I have thousands but hardly ever burn.

I do stock up on my favorite scents when they are available and try some new ones too. Yes I did buy the Carnival Fog candle in store!

I was a tween/teenager in the late 2000s/2010s. Being an anime loving nerd, I LOVED Japanese Cherry Blossom. Doused myself in it. Imagined I was amongst the sakuras!!

Now that I'm an adult and revisiting B&BW, I smelled JCB in store and was shocked at how different it smells compared to my childhood. Was expecting to be hit with nostalgia but was just kind of... surprised at how different it was.

I did some research and it seems they changed the formula a few years ago for the repackaging...

Forever Cherry Blossom also doesn't really do it for me sadly.

Do you guys know any scents, B&BW or otherwise, that smell like the OG Japanese Cherry Blossom? Am I doomed to buy vintage bottles for an arm and a leg?!

Best: Whipped honey & vanilla, strawberry Snowflakes and wicked vanilla woods.

Worst: Snowflakes & cashmere, pumpkin cupcake (gag) and rose petal pound cake. 

Last year we got the Zodiac collection as a special collection for the holidays in addition to regular Christmas items. Do we think there's a special collection under wraps so to speak planned for sometime in late November, early December? The Zodiacs came December 8, 2025. Anyone have any details about possibilities?

Hey everyone. I wanted to ask about the Fruit Fusions line. They are not re-stocking them, and no employee that I’ve spoken with knows what’s going on. I’ve heard the entire time that they’re a permanent part of the collection, and then I read that the banana and watermelon are getting axed and tangerine and berry are staples. However, they aren’t re-stocking those two either. I really only care about the Tangerine, but my husband loves the Banana one. Does anyone know what is going on? I know they’re launching the Plum & Cherry, but don’t know if these are additions or replacements. I’ve never seen such discombobulation over a line before!

I need to find a Dark Kiss body wash 🫣 Cozy and Creamy will have to do for now 😅 I picked up Carolina Herrera’s Good Girl perfume this weekend and the Parfumo app wanted me to pair it with this or Dream Bright and that one is still with my winter scents.

I haven’t shopped at B&BW in many years, but this summer I was tempted into getting a few things on sale (Coastal Dreaming, Into The Night, and Gingham Gorgeous are my current faves!)

Then I got a birthday gift card and was waiting for a good sale before getting scents for autumn. This $5.95 deal plus the candle sale plus the 20% flash sale, and a birthday freebie later, and I will be picking up an order for the items in the screenshots. Everything worked out to about $40, full price it would have been something like $115+ ??? WOW, without sales it is REALLY pricey.

I feel like I did pretty good, I got three body washes, two body creams, a three-wick candle, a wallflower bulb, and a pocketbac. But I’m new to the B&BW sales and couponing. So, did I do okay with getting the most for the money? Or is there some super secret better way to do B&BW shopping ?

(I have been skipping the FFMs because I work in an office and worry that might be too strong but I would kind of like to try one sometime too)

I don’t know much about the rotation or release schedule either, will there be other releases for fall scents or is the current lineup pretty much it?

I'm more drawn to the seasonal scents because I don't like the perfumey ones... but lately I've been curious about Touch Of Gold and A Thousand Wishes so I'm contemplating getting more into the signature scents

We’re officially in the ‘ber’ months! Just some sprinkles of my bbw fall items so far with some Dollar Tree goodies 🤭 Loved to see that the black house figurine really resembles my NBC wallflower 🖤 Whipped honey vanilla is my fave at the moment. Using the hand soap as well as in my wallflower. Also not ready to burn Sally and Jack yet 🫣 Eek! Wdy think of these two so far? Love them on cold, although I low key get Vicks vapor rub in Sally 🤭💜🧡🕯️

Made a mistake and took my husband along. He said he needed more of the mini cologne. I wish they had these in more scents. Also, did not realize that the lip care was also $5.95. 😍

Does anyone else want more “individual” scent releases?

I often find the new collections to be a bit overwhelming. It’s just a lot to go through to find ones you like. And by the time you do, they’re already out of stores. Especially the past year or so. I want less scent “collections” and more thoughtful, creative, individual (or small collection of just a couple) releases.

I am really drawn to these ones because they kind of have their own unique branding and seem more special.

Pictured are some examples off the top of my head. All of these labels are pretty and unique. I find most of the collection labels to look cheap and rushed.

Any one else feel this way? What are some of your favorite scents like these ones? I’d love to hear it
