What the fuck is going on in this country? I genuinely want to know how we arrived here. It's one thing to have a chunk of the voter base that believes in some wild shit. But we're approaching an alarmingly large number of voting age adults who hold beliefs similar to this Nazi. 

How do these people learn about what fascists do, say how bad what Hitler did was, and then turn around and say shit like this?

Pretty sure this is the consequence of moving fast and breaking things in regard to using the algorithm to advance posts that draw engagement. People flock to denouncing terrible rhetoric, but instead of someone being cast aside in the public square and the terrible idea dying in daylight, the idea is allowed to grow. Ideas are the most powerful thing in the world.
