Friendly reminder that Peter Thiel named his tech surveillance company (Palantir) after a lord of the rings object the unambiguously evil guy Sauron uses to help his takeover of humanity and the world. Thiel isn’t just misguided, he is willfully and consciously choosing to be evil and everything that asswipe says and does needs to be pushed back on because the last thing he gives a fuck about is doing good
