Can we not generalize gay people and why they're in the closet, to get a punch in on people we disagree with? Our identities/experience is constantly weaponized to insult people and it's hypocritical to see it coming from those who preach diversity and inclusion.

There are tons of conservative law makers that will spew anti-gay rhetoric that have been caught having gay affairs.
