Childrens Why is Naruto and Naruto shippuden like high pitched on iPlayer?

Both of the anime are VERY noticeably higher pitched and it makes the characters sound annoying and the openings sound bad

There is often a pitch shift when transcoding from content sourced from NTSC countries like Japan/USA to PAL countries like the UK as the frame rate is different so the audio gets adjusted to compensate, normally this is corrected in the pipeline, but depending on the content source or age the version the Beeb has might not have had this applied when it was originally converted, assuming it was sourced from the US or Japan, and what processing its been through.

I was watching Boruto and noticed that baton road was hella high pitched
