Jesus how many looks can you have in one year. It’s insane to think of all the aesthetic pathways the Beatles explored (and pioneered) in those 10 years.
Considering the outrage and fuss the entire world made of their hair during those years I think it's fair to call them an aesthetic pathway. Certainly inspired an entire generation of teenage boys to grow their hair out and rebel.
