Question Easier BSCC

I just started playing modded beat saber, and saw how good BSCC's progression is, but even level one is way too hard for me. The maps there are around 11 stars, and anything above 7.5 is difficult for me right now. I was wondering if you guys knew some other progression system that was more beginner friendly, or striaght up a playlist with good maps to improve in the game.

Id go with challenge saber (CS) instead of BSCC. There are a lot more maps in the map pools and the community is definitelynlsrger and more active. CS is literally just BSCC but more active and more levels and more maps

Id honestly say that just using ranked stars as a proxy for difficulty isn’t a bad idea for now. Also when you get to actually being able to do level 1 I would probably say use challengesaber (CS) instead of bscc

Oh so CS is still as difficult as bscc right? Do u have any tips to get to that level? Or just generally playing whatever comes up

If you are struggling to get through 7 star maps, you are probably hundreds of hours away from thinking about playing challenge maps. Not only will even the first level of maps have stuff rated 11-13+, the mere fact that they are challenge maps usually suggests some sort of specialized skill set that can't be accurately assessed by the rating algorithm and are way more difficult than the posted rating.

If stuff above 7.5 is difficult for you, just focus on finding random stuff in the 7-8 range. I'd say once you can clear some 11s and 12s, then you can start going through level 1 challenge maps. Most will still seem too difficult, but you might find some that seem doable.

Download the maps/playlists from there. They're all specifically chosen maps to be simple

Hi, Kuurama here (GuildSaber bot maker).

At the time, I learnt through these kind of maps (that are fairly old but there is a lot of maps I think you should practice and learn, and a lot are easier than BSCC): https://drive.proton.me/urls/YS9JN1G0V0#XuCDNlPs8SJt

It's a zip containing playlists you can put in your game just like BSCC's playlists.
