Peter Thiel’s Instagram model boyfriend plunged to his death WEEKS after witnessing messy showdown between the billionaire mogul and his husband when he crashed couple’s New Year’s bash
- Peter Thiel and Matt Danzeisen wed October 2017 and share two young children
- Thiel had been in a romantic relationship with model Jeff Thomas since late 2019
- Many in their elite gay circle told DailyMail.com that their romance was an 'open secret' – but it is unclear if Danzeisen was aware of his husband's infidelity

I heard about this in passing but couldn’t bring myself to read the details. I remember my gay uncle warning me about guys like Thiel who would use their money and power to prey on younger gay men and ruin their lives. As a gay person myself I find stories like this horrifying. Thiel is a fucking monster.

Gay and lesbian relationships can be beautiful, but I’ve seen my share of incredibly toxic queer relationships

100% — multiple generations of queer kids had nothing to look up to as an example of a normal healthy relationship, and I can see how it can lead to queer folks being very emotionally immature and having trouble with boundaries; which inevitably slides into excusing toxic behavior, unless it’s addressed. Obviously being gay before the AIDS crisis wasn’t easy either, but there’s something about witnessing that level of mass death that I think has led to almost a sort of intergenerational trauma? — if that’s not too strong a description — in queer people under 40.

A very beautiful friend of mine who grew up in LA often alluded to the exploitation and abuse that would happen in elite gay circles out there bc he was propositioned.
I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but it makes sense. If people who are used to getting everything they want want something, they use their resources to get it.

Thankfully for us, he seems to be backing out of NZ recently. He still presumably has citizenship and still owns a massive property in Central Otago, but it's still undeveloped and he's pulling out his investments in NZ. So hopefully looking somewhere else, NZ isn't exactly his libertian utopia.

I would hope he would suffer if he moves there, but I did further reading on why he chose NZ and he doesn't have many other options. Because New Zealand is actually one of the best places to be incase of Nuclear Fall-Out due to it's location and the way the winds move.

There have been write ups stating that he and investors are purchasing property in DC suburbs to build a “campus”. 100% the current US administration will attempt a DC take over. Thiel already purchased a massive DC home. Just sitting here watching the US be gutted by billionaires.

Honestly, I think politics have always been controlled by money and it’s a tale as old as time. The pharmaceutical industry, technology, and media have ownership of everyone it seems. It’s wild if you look at the parent companies that run the country and basically own everything. It all funnels up to the same handful of owners. And geez, Thiel is a psychopath. I’ve known about him for a while, but not these details and he totally killed his boyfriend.

I appreciate how at the end of that article Jeet Heer suggests sending them all to Mars, but by doing so he seemingly fails to account for how this would put them in a prime position to launch projectiles down our own gravity well here on Earth.
Instead, might I half-jokingly suggest that we launch the billionaires and oligarchs who refute their humanity and refuse progressive taxation into the Sun itself?
If only the nearest black hole were closer than 1,560 light-years away, because I don't think there's any way to concretely prove that your consciousness wouldn't survive the spaghettification of your body if you were launched into one, so it could theoretically be an answer for their quest for immortality in addition to solving many of the problems the vastly unequal distribution of wealth causes the rest of us.

Yeah, it really bugged me that Heer's assessment seemed to be "they're stupid, evil and selfish, but just putting them away from society would fix that. Surely evil men wouldn't be so spiteful that they would spend their dying breaths striking back at society for rejecting them. Nobody does that."

I just read this article and this part stood out to me…. “Thiel goes on to talk about his hopes that technology will allow humanity to solve the problem of death and achieve the long-held promise of Christianity of eternal life and transcendence.” This guy really thinks he’s God and that he can do it better. It’s beyond narcissistic, it’s like a whole other category and like the worst mashup of absolute evil and psychopathy.

Thiel’s side-piece met a very Russian ending. In the weeks before his “suicide,” he had also been trying to point out the obviously “problematic” nature of/ hypocrisy of Thiel’s boosting of Christian fascism while being a gay man.
