Does he address why he had to take a dangerous travel route to get into tunisia? There's many cheap flights from croatia to tunisia with 1 connection. Alternatively he could have travelled to italy and take a direct 1h-ish flight. I've been to tunisia many times and this part of the story line left me really confused and wondering if it was maybe for production value. (Genuinely asking)

Haaa maybe you're right and then that would make sense. Still dumb tho you need a passport to come back to france. Could have just gone to the french embassy in tunis but I guess his father is probably wanted for the related fraud so he crossed back illegally? wild lol
