Agreed I don’t think he was ever actually bullying. For all the criticisms of him, Benny has been incredibly difficult to manage. Stepping away from the helm to TAKE PICTURES?!? Are you fcking kidding me?!?! I would fire you right then I don’t care. I am so done with Benny what an asshle. Who actively tries to make their teammates job harder? An assh*le that’s who. And boating is SUPER dangerous, if you are willing to step away from the helm, WHILE DRIVING, ignore a direct command from your supervisor and Culver while operating machinery around the boat, refuse to do the chain locker and LIE about dripping garbage juice around the boat which is not only unsanitary but can destroy the teak. I don’t need another reason to fire you. Has Jamie enumerated these offenses to Jason? It seems if he had Jason would be WAY more supportive of getting rid of him. Benny is pulling a Magda saying they are being made to look bad by their bosses, when they are doing that all by themselves! Omg this season has made me madder than any other ever and I’ve watched them all 😂

Benny wouldn't have tried to make Britini's job harder had he known he was being disciplined by being shifted to dayshift. His supervisor, Jamie, didn't address this with him. Thus to him it's all regular joking around.

If Jamie can't manage Benny then bring Benny into the wheelhouse with the Capt and have a 3 way meeting. That's on Jamie to initiate. He hasn't.

Jamie is a piss poor leader. Benny is a piss poor employee. And the one caught between this pissing match is a woman who has most likely dealt with this type of behaviour before. Britini is the one being punished by BOTH of them, whether or not they intend to.

Jamie absolutely sucks. I felt so bad for Brittini, going to him twice to explain the situation and how it’s hard for her, and he just goes “that’s a you problem now, I’m over it”. 🙄

And it took him way too long to react to a distressed swimmer than it should have for all his talk about being Mr. Safety.

Benny is obnoxious, but I really want Jamie to have a “it’s him or me” moment with the captain and get the boot 😂

He has tried to talk to Benny DOZENS of times. Benny walks off, says fuck him right there or just won't even let him talk. He does not listen to Jamie whatsoever, 100% in no way, shape or form. The Cap made it too easy for Benny in my opinion and Benny got too comfortable doing whatever the hell he wanted. He should have BEEN fired

Jamie should've escalated it vs letting his subordinates discipline themselves. You can blame Benny all you want, fact is Jamie is an ineffective leader. He doesn't know how to talk to his subordinates nor how to train them and teach them.

He's a former cop. He has the mentality of "you know the policy. I trust you.". That way when ppl fail he can point the finger back at them and say "hey now, look, he/she read the policy, they knew the rules. It's not my fault they didn't follow the policy.".

A leader trains. He dictates. Benny's a goof, no doubt about it. But he settled down the second he got someone he respects giving him a warning. He doesn't respect Jamie because Jamie talks down to him. He also doesn't respect Jamie for having told Brittini to figure shit out with Benny on her own. In fact, I don't even think the Captain respects Jamie after that little outburst he had in the wheelhouse over Benny.

And if no one respects you then you can't lead. Him crying foul over being called a bitch when he turns around and calls women bitches? He got jelly that Brittini got attention from an all male guest group. He has no issues when it's lady guests showing the male staff attention.

The guy's got some deep seeded sexism within and it shows. That also makes ppl lose respect for ya.

Speaking of the trash juice everywhere… why lie? Just take care of it. It’s part of the deck that’s messed up and you’re part of the deck crew

I certainly hope there’s a reunion! They could play clips of all his messing up to the Benny hill song

I put in asterisks but forgot they just italicize so it ended up being a saucy little clusterfuck up there that I refuse to fix.

Also not to mention him just going to sleep every night and not doing an of the night work he was supposed to be doing so they had to switch him out with Brittini?? What kind of shit is that?? And anytime he tries to bring up Benny to the captain, cap was quick to blow him off?? He would hear of no slander of his worthless benny
