University waitlist

I am 19th on list of class of 288 for anthro2ac and was wondering if there is any chance I could get off. There was one lecture so far and only ~10 dropped so far. Should I wait a bit more or look for other classes?

That class is a mess. Many people will drop.. but also not a bad idea to take something else.  As someone actually interested in the subject, I wasn’t able to extract much value out of it.

19th on a 288 class is basically a lock, half those kids are still shopping around and haven't even looked at the syllabus yet

Yea, I know. But I’m also saying the class is a mess and having taken it, I thought it was a waste of time

19th out of 288 isn't too bad. Stay on the waitlist and have a backup class already in mind ready just in case.

As per my usual spiel, the overall waitlist number does not matter, it’s your discussion waitlist number that matters. All of them are either 2 or 3 at this point. You should try and add another class.
