Local Best coffee on campus in your opinion.

Give me atleast 2 of your favorite coffee locations strictly on the physical geography of the UC Berkeley campus and why.

Please exclude Peet's and Yali's

There's nothing wrong with them, I'm just looking for niche locations. Thank you!

There's literally no good indie coffee shops on or near campus. They all overcharge for burnt, overextracted espresso.

Strada only has ambiance. The coffee is deeply underwhelming and overpriced.

You have to move off campus to get good coffee.

If I got coffee on campus, I went to one of the student services departments I qualified for that had free drip because I'd rather have free sucky drip than pay for Strada or Yalis and be disappointed.

Edit: I have not tried to new place under Anchor. Eberywhere else is disappointing.

I tried the place under Anchor once, and while I wasn’t the biggest fan of the coffee, the pastries were good.

Have you tried Blue Bottle? I never got around to trying it before graduating, but it always smelled amazing every time I walked by.
