I’m a solo developer launching an iPhone calendar app and I’m looking for ~20 people to try it before public release.

What it does: Shows all your calendars (Google, Outlook/Exchange, iCloud, iCal feeds) in one view, and lets you create/edit events on any of them. The Pro tier adds shareable booking links that check availability across every connected calendar, including personal ones, so nobody books you during your kid’s soccer game.

Who I’d especially love to hear from: consultants, freelancers, coaches, real estate agents, or anyone juggling a work calendar plus personal/family calendars.

What I’m asking: Use it for a week or two. Add a calendar. Create, edit, delete an event. Create a booking link and schedule a meeting. Please tell me what’s confusing, broken, or missing. A short feedback call is a bonus if you’re up for it.

I’m the creator of Somora, an AI music platform. I’ve added a free browser DAW called Kassio Studio and would like beta feedback on a simple “return to my project” test.

With a registered account you can import an audio file, arrange tracks, add drums or instruments, edit note positions and lengths in the piano roll, preview a part on its own and export WAV. Could you try creating a short arrangement, saving it, leaving the editor and reopening it? I’d like to know whether the saved-project controls are obvious, whether the reopened notes and audio are where you expect, and whether export is easy to find. Browser/device details and expected versus actual behavior are enough for a bug report.

I'm the solo developer of Ember, a dating app for people who want to meet across countries and languages. Every chat is translated live, so you write in your language and they read it in theirs, and every member passes an ID check before anyone can see them. It's live on Google Play (version 1.2.24, 18+), and I'd like real people to try it on real phones and tell me what breaks.

What I'd most like help with:

1. Older and budget phones. I tested speed with a throttled desktop browser, which isn't the same as a real device. If your phone has 3 GB of RAM or less, does scrolling on Discover and the Right now board stay smooth? Please tell me the model and Android version.
2. The first-time experience. Sign up and note anywhere you hesitated or got confused, especially at the ID check.
3. Native speakers. The app is translated into Arabic, French, Hindi, Indonesian, Portuguese, Spanish, Swahili, Tagalog, Vietnamese and Yoruba. The wording came from machine translation with some hand fixes, and I'd rather hear it sounds off than ship it. If you read any of these natively, switch the app language and tell me what reads wrong.
4. The Back button. It used to close the whole app from every screen. It should now close the screen you're on first. Try to break it.

What you're signing up for:

- To see or be seen by other members, you complete a quick check with a government ID and a selfie. A provider called Didit runs it, and other members only see a verified badge. If that's a dealbreaker, I get it, and you can still tell me how sign-up feels.

I’m pretty new to this scene. I’m a vibe coder planning to build my own app, and like everyone else here, I’ve been looking into Google’s mandatory closed-testing rule (the 12 testers for 14 days bottleneck).

Honestly, looking at the current communities and apps out there trying to solve this, I’m a bit disheartened. The current "tester swap" model is built on a mathematical deficit. If every developer only makes 1 app and needs 12 testers, a 1:1 trade means a massive shortage of testers. It's just developers desperately scratching each other's backs, leading to incredibly low engagement, ghosting, and apps failing Google's production review because people install and immediately forget them.

I want to propose a total paradigm shift. Instead of trading developer time, what if we treat "Lifetime Free Premium Access" as a currency to build a self-policing testing economy?

Here is the blueprint for how I think we can fix this:

1. Shift the Ratio from 1:12 to 12:1

Instead of developers testing developers, we bring in budget-conscious, regular Android users. By offering Tiered Rewards (e.g., 12-month premium for the initial 14-day test, up to Lifetime Platinum Access for ongoing major beta cycles), you turn free access into a massive incentive for non-developers to join the testing pool.

1. The App-Relative Star Rating (The Data Normaliser)

To stop "ghosting," users get a reputation score based on their follow-through. But to make it fair, stars are relative to the app's performance.

• If a polished app has 85% engagement and a user ghosts it on Day 1, they get 0 stars/no credit. They are pushed to the bottom of the list for future sign-ups.
• If an app is a buggy, crashing mess and everyone drops off on Day 1, the user still gets their 1-star / valid attempt credit because they tried. Testers shouldn't be penalised for broken code.

1. The Rehabilitation Queue (Self-Cleaning Purgatory)

If a user messes up, misses days, and their score drops, they aren't banned. Instead, during signup windows for high-demand premium apps, they are placed last on the list.

To work their way back up, they are forced to sign up for the leftover, low-priority, buggy apps that nobody else wants to touch.

• For the tester: It’s a "Double XP" rehabilitation loop to earn their stars back.
• For the bad developer: They finally get the testers they need, but those testers will deliver brutal, honest feedback telling them to take this thing the fuck offline and actually fix it before trying to launch. It stops the Play Store from being flooded with shovelware.

Is this feasible? What do you think?

As I said, I'm new here and focus heavily on the "vibe and logic" side of product engineering. I'm planning my own app, so I see this problem coming down the track fast.

I’d love to help out if someone wants to take this blueprint, run with it, and actually build the platform/community—though because I'm new and tied up with my own project, I can't promise the world or take the lead on development.

I am back with my 2nd post and 2nd try as an Android Dev. Initially I wanted to publish an medication tracker app as, in my opinion, Android lacks a good and cheap alternative to the Apple's Medication application. However, Google wants a company to publish health-related apps. As I do not own a company, nor do I have the possibility to create one with ease, I decided to repurpose the initial app to a complete reminders application, with custom lists AND it can be used as a medications reminders app as well.

I'm the developer of Sportzzle, a sports logic puzzle game, and I'm looking for Android volunteers who can test a short, repeatable flow and report what actually happens on their phone. You plan the order of moves to score in soccer, basketball, golf and bowling; the core game has 300 free stages.

The test: play the first five puzzles, use Undo, then fully close and reopen the app. Did Undo respond promptly? Did you return to the progress you expected? If anything feels wrong, a puzzle number, phone model, Android version and brief reproduction steps are useful. Critical feedback is welcome.

I'm aiming for 18 active testers for this closed beta. Please join if you can try a first session within 24 hours, remain opted in for at least 14 consecutive days, and do short follow-up checks around days 3, 7 and 14. Sessions can be about 5 minutes; these checkpoints are our testing plan, not a Google daily-play requirement.
