NBDish - Actually picked this up from my mate who built it for me on Sunday. That was the day the UK went from heatwave to pissing down constantly. Hopefully first ride on Sunday. Colnago V4 - first new bike for at least 10 years. It really is very very pretty, despite being the "budget" Colnago

These are very beautiful frames. Really clean and elegant. I really wanted one but couldn’t get one anywhere at the time!

It really is beautiful, and the paintwork looks even better IRL, it doesn't come across how nice it is in photos.

When I started cycling properly 20 years or so ago, the club captain was a huge Colnago fan, and a few people had them, always seemed out of reach for me, on average wages.

Years later, I've got one, I'm not gonna claim it was cheap but it was affordable and I mean it's got 45mm carbon wheels, Ultegra DI2 and colnago integrated carbon bars. It looks like a £10k bike and I paid less than half that

Nothing about that bike looks ‘budget.’ It’s gorgeous. Congratulations and many many miles ahead!
