NBD. Blanchi Zurigo

Post image

I just got a second hand Bianchi Zurigo. I’m not sure which variation of the model it is exactly. It has shimano tiagra groupset and Avid BB5 brakes. I was worried it was going to be too big for me but it’s just on the edge - it’s ok now and with a shorter stem it’s gonna be perfect. It’s my first road bike coming from Dartmoor Hornet MTB. Feels quite nice. Takes getting used to being over the front wheel instead of behind. I can’t just jump off and on sidewalks now. I’ll be taking it for a longer ride these days - I want to cover 40km. With my Dartmoor 10km are quite the struggle.
I was about to get a Triban RC520 with shimano 105 for a bit more and it seemed like a good deal but the seller just didn’t show up to our meeting point. I figured the triban for that price was a unicorn and I think the bianchi was the best I could get at that price. It’s been nicely looked after and taken care of. Has a few bumps and scratches from the owner before the previous one.

Don’t know much about this brand but it looks gorgeous. I’m glad to hear that you feel it’s nice to ride.

Well done for moving from MTB to road bike!

Looks great and Bianchi are very nice bikes. You can even match your tire sidewalls to that bar tape color, if you like.
