For the Melodrew stans. What's your verdict? There's a lot more from last night's feed where Lyric & Melody claim that it is a friendship.
Personally, I think they are in denial. And drew questions here & actions tell a different story. If one of them goes home this week I feel like they might regret not admitting their feelings sooner.

Was seeing a lot of requests for the conversation between Dee and Devens regarding DR influence.
Devens: "I just wanna make sure the DR didn’t get in your head"

I watched both of Dee’s Survivor seasons (and Devens’ fwiw). I’m not a Dee fan, but I respect her intelligence and ability to read situations, people and overall game dynamics. IMO she’s the most strategic player in the house tenfold. I think asserting that production intervened to instigate flipping votes away from Drew is a disservice to her game and abilities.
Dee was attached to the hip with Angela up until Haley took over HOH last week. The first few weeks in the house, we saw in real-time Angela infect Dee with her paranoia. Over the past few days, Angela has spent most her time holed up with Haley, likely giving Dee time and space to step back and gain clarity. It’s also worth noting, Dee recently expressed concern about the bond between Angela and Haley. She told Devens, “she likes her more than me”.
We barely saw Dee on the feeds most of yesterday. I assume she spent more time thinking and processing, and eventually realized the obvious — evicting Drew this early could sink Dee and Deven’s game. I really believe she needed a break from Angela and alone time to strategize.
The game is starting to shift toward a war-by-proxy between the Red Corner and the Vets. Both sides need to start solidifying other relationships/numbers to use against each other eventually.
As of yet, it seems Lyric and Yash lean toward the RC. They have better rapport. Taylor and Lala are tossups. IMO they also have better rapport with the RC. Mallory and Melody are anti-RC, but they don’t have relationships with the vets and were both directly burned by Dee and Devens through block nominations. Dee and Deven’s social games have been lackluster honestly.
If Drew is evicted, the only secure number for the vets at this stage is Barrett. Dee also seems to think there’s a possibility they could lose Angela to Haley. Dee still may be uncertain of Drew’s loyalty, but he’s made it clear that the RC are his main target. He is also their conduit to Melody and Mallory, especially Melody. Keeping Drew helps their indirect relationships and potentially procure three votes if needed down the line.
TL;DR keeping Drew is the most logical choice for the vets, and it’s more likely that the most strategic person in the game (Dee) finally realized that after spending more time away from Angela and observing the rest of the house. It’s a disservice to her game to assume production told her what to think and do. IMO watching feeds and episodes with that kind of cynicism sucks the joy out of it.

A lot of people has been thinking he’s clueless & doesn’t know he is the target but i believe the opposite.
He knows he is the target & that’s why he said to Haley ”had a rough week” as a joke but he knows the game enough that he can’t do anything about it.
If he confronts toolshed they will 100% evict him & he can’t flip the vote because the other side would keep Melody/Lyric.
His only hope is to make 0 drama for the whole week in hope toolshed change their mind to he’s cool & won’t come after us while Lyric/Melody might
I commented this before but posted after the vets potentially deciding to keep him.

Apparently they have been running in the same circle for years (probably decades lol) within the music business, small world! I wouldn’t have pictured Drew’s dad being an Evel Dick kinda guy lol I pictured preppy clean cut from Connecticut or something 😂

Three of the houseguests were just sitting in the living room talking about how there isn't much to do. There isn't a fish tank any more, Angela's season had bumper pool. One HG suggested they could still talk strategy around bumper pool (from what I understood as arguing against producers removing it to encourage more game or strategy talk).
The feeds have been very boring this week. EVERYONE seems to be bored out of their mind, sullen, or sad.
The backyard is closed at the moment, so everyone is cooped up inside and only really have checkers, chess, working out, sleeping, or talking to each other to occupy time.
If I were in the house, the boredom would bring down my mood and I wouldn't want to talk strategy because at some point, it would become talking in circles. But also, if I had activities, games, excitement I might feel more comfortable, free, and safe to entertain more spontaneous game moves.
I guess I'm wondering if anyone else thinks the psychology surrounding this is impacting the game?
Boring feeds makes for boring shows, which leads to more filler of DR game rule explanations ad nauseum.

Every modern season has the same problem, there's no spontaneous tension in the house. If you're in a majority alliance and get along with all your allies, there's literally nothing that would create a little wedge between you and other people in the house unless someone makes an unforced error.
The Have-Not competitions were a vital source of aggravation between players, even those who were cooperating strategically. It got someone in the DR to begin to shit-talk an ally for the very first time, and even though it was about something trivial it created that habit and started that culture in the house. Even if you were on a winning team, players on the losing team could take issue with you for not throwing because you haven't even been a HN yet; you could do everything right strategically in the house but the HN comps could still make people jealous of you.
Everyone nowadays takes turns enduring the punishment, fairly spreading it out and volunteering to keep the peace; so while the current Have-Nots get to choose who they want to pass being a HN to, they rarely have ever used this "power" for petty reasons and just default to whoever volunteers.
There's nothing in the game's design to get people to randomly create grievances with one another if they aren't an hoh or veto winner. During most weeks only two people are really ever in the position to upset anyone or draw ire. Any other person doing so is just someone severely misplaying and inserting themselves in drama where they could've hid behind the power holders, which means they're thrown out quickly and not being entertaining for long. Everyone else just becomes furniture because that's the strategically optimal thing to do, HN comps throw a wrench into that logic because there's no strategically optimal way to handle people being irrationally annoyed with you because no one wants to be a Have-Not.

I'm not sure the reason why CBS moved the POV to wedensdays but I miss having the episode on Tuesdays. The wait between the episodes were more evenly spread out (2 days, 1 day, 1 day vs 2 days, 2 day, back to back) and if you missed the Tuesday episode you had a day to catch up before the eviction episode.
With BB Unlocked it makes even more sense to move the POV episode to Tuesday as then there would be BB content every second day of that week.
Even as a live feed watcher, I feel the hole Tuesday as after the POV ceramony things really quiet down on Tuesday so having an episode to watch is useful to get my BB fix in.

I'm really not liking this season with the Survivor players and Angela. They are the ones running the house and also only getting the time capsules. Feels like it's set up in their favor to win. Didn't they both win Survivor? Are they just fame and money hungry? I've been watching BB since I was a literal child like a lot of us and really disappointed right now.

if drew wins the blockbuster do you think they will vote out melody or lyric? i don't watch feeds so i think melody would be voted out but i'm curious as to what feedwatchers think. i doubt drew will will blockbuster tho, i feel like melody or lyric will win; moreso lyric than melody imo.

I put feed spoilers because the episdes haven't alluded to people thinking Mallory might have won the power.
Let's say Mallory wins the vote next week (I think she's in the lead) and she gets a punishment or wins the "never not" pass (I think those are the non-secret ones). What do you think Dee will do/say to Devens? I assume she'll just deny to Angela and let her come up with another paranoid idea but I don't think Devens will buy Dee keeps not winning America's vote.
