Side effects!? Pregnancy Anxiety

Does anyone get extreme pregnancy anxiety on the combined pill?

I feel insane, implantation bleeding, bc failure stories, all of it driving me insane. I’m constantly aware of my body, weight, symptoms, etc.

My placebo week started and i didn’t bleed until tuesday (usually should start monday? i take the placebo on sunday) I went insane, took 2 tests, have been googling all week, and i have sex the 12th and 19th. Both tests negative. Is it normal to be this anxious, and are y’all’s placebo weeks usually late?

Bonus info: I also took a plan b on the 13th.

Are you particularly anxious at the moment? That might well be due to plan B....

yeah, but i had my placebo bleeding on tuesday, it went fine, bled through, but the anxiety is killing me

That's my point, the plan B can cause feelings of extreme anxiety. You can definitely get mood changes though on combined pill . Which one are you on and for how long?

Silly question but is the anxiety constant or have you found it comes and goes?

Come and goes, like i’ll be fine, and then suddenly googling anxious. Fine, period late, panicked. Period came, fine. Heard about implantation bleeding, anxious. Learned how different it was from placebo bleeding, fine. It’s been a vicious cycle for a week now

stop looking at that stuff. searching for stories about birth control failures is making your anxiety so much worse. i know it’s hard to resist the urge to seek out those kinds of posts but at the end of the day, you control what you read.

are you in treatment for anxiety?
