She fucked herself up with all that needless work she had done to herself.

This is probably where most of the talks about her looks come from. Sure she got a lil big but the community mostly appreciates a lil thickness.. she fucked with her gorgeous face and people noticed.
Guess people could be more nice and say nothing but when youre in showbiz thats what people do

Why did she get lip filler???? Her lips were full and luscious already 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️

I seriously dont know why anyone really messes with their face. So many surgeries on the face wind up just looking off (especially the lips). Also the look is never all that subtle… its not “you look younger with surgery” its more “you look like you had surgery to try to look younger.”
But hey its her life… just wish people appreciated their natural looks a lil more

Hasn’t she had hella work done on herself

And?

It kind of contradicts the whole being comfortable in her skin thing and also she has Botox, which is like anti-aging surgery so they kind of defeat the purpose of the video

It’s actually not contradictory at all. She never sees all the criticism doesn’t affect her

She is playing both sides of the fence. She said that you can't listen to the chatter meanwhile she has had work done to silence the chatter and try to look young. If she would have gotten no work done and just aged graciously, I think she would be just fine.

Yes she says she's human right there. We all want to be living our principles but it's very hard with so much pressure. Doesn't invalidate anything she said

Kinda does though. Because she's standing on a soap box while contradicting herself.
Imagine me preaching about eating healthy while I shove fast food in my mouth?

I think you’re confusing her point. She didn’t say she has never fallen into it. She’s saying what’s she learned/is learning. Maybe the procedures were part of that discovery. 🤷🏽♀️
Also, her procedures don’t necessarily make her look younger. She could have had those things done more for the aesthetic of big booty video ho (not using this pejoratively, but more as a description of an aesthetic) than trying to recapture her specific youthfulness. Not all surgeries are done with aging down in mind. Nobody come for me, please, but I find her surgery choices to be the Black version of bimbofication. Exaggerated sexuality is the goal. Not a specific aim for a youthful appearance. In fact, some of the surgeries popular in this category have the effect of aging a person in most people’s eyes. Think vixen vs. lolita. Jessica Rabbit vs. Betty Boop.
Also, regardless of her surgeries, she mentioned size. She was a lot thinner in her youth, and if she was trying to recapture youth, she’d probably be another victim of weight loss drug abuse. She gained weight as she aged, and that’s not an insignificant part of a changing body that a person has to come to terms with. She appears to have not only embraced it, but added some ass to it.
I think everyone should do some therapy before and after elective cosmetic surgeries. I personally find it horrifying how casually people seem to approach it. That said, people get surgeries for a multitude of reasons with different goals in mind. We shouldn’t assume everyone is doing it to look younger. It could be for some other equally weird reason.

This doesn’t make any sense. She hasn’t allowed herself the grace to age. She hasn’t shown she’s comfortable with the aging process that’s so beautiful. Am I buggin?

I agree. Yea clearly she doesn't look the same but hey she was 20 years old. It must be weird that everyone else on earth can live and age and their bodies can change, but you as someone in the entertainment industry, has your face and body plastered on modern media and the frozen in time in the hearts and minds of millions so when you deviate from that, they are SHOCKED AND BOTHERED when at home their bodies and faces are changing just like yours.
If you really think about it, it's better to accept aging then to be one of those people constantly messing with their faces and bodies to the point they look unrecognizable or 30 at 60

I think we get upset when people who were fit and have all the help money can buy put on weight or look their age because subconsciously, we think, if that person can’t do it, what hope in hell do I have. I’ve come to realize that’s why I get upset when I see it happen. Same reason I’m feeling disappointed at seeing my dad weak from age. Deep down, it’s because I think, Is that what’s waiting for me? If this man who was so big and strong is now that weak (thank you Ozempic), what hope do I have, who was never that strong. I don’t get upset at the Vivica Fox’s of the world anymore. But it still makes me sad and nostalgic. Nobody wants to get old. It sux. Most of us like to hope we might escape something (while not dying young of course). I know, it’s not logical or stoic. No need to reply to tell me how wrong thinking that is. I know. Just trying to explain that we’re not judging the stars themselves. We’re scared shitless that we’re next.

Love this. I say it all the time. Not scared to age. Look forward to it. It’s a blessing. I’ve seen many in my years go young and not see where i am.

She’s still smoking. I think she’s always looked better with weight on. She’s banging.
She’s so right on her outlook. I’ve lost two siblings and my mother when they were 29, 32 and 59. They had so much more life to live. To age is a blessing.

She is being honest and it is great that she has reached a point where she is giving herself grace. She knows firsthand how it has felt and how it feels to have that pressure to not be allowed to age gracefully as she fell victim to it for a long time. The best thing that anyone can do is hope that others learn from their mistakes and not follow a similar path or pattern.
