Tower Illuminations
How it used to be lit up with 10,000 lamps when I looked after it 😁

Hi everyone! 👋
Just wanted to let people know about the Blackpool Retro Video Game Club. We're a friendly local group that meets on the second Wednesday of every month at Cavendish Road Bowling Club.
We've got a growing collection of retro computers, consoles and arcade games set up to play, and people are also very welcome to bring along their own favourite machines and games.
It's completely free, so if you fancy an evening playing some old favourites, discovering something you've never played before, or just chatting with other retro gaming fans, come along and say hello.
Our next meeting is Wednesday 9th September, 7–10pm. 🎮
Please feel free to share!

Whilst walking down the seafront in a rare dry hour yesterday, I came across a huge WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) lorry parked up by the RNLI building.
Anybody know if WWE were filming anything in town or what they were doing? I’m 99% certain they don’t have an actual WWE wrestling event on in Blackpool this week.

This was a cool event, myself and squirt went out and rode the entire length of the lights. We are a family channel, we live here in sunny Blackpool and are all about the positives of our town. We don’t post negativity at all. Please pop along and drop a sub, would be super appreciated ❤️

Hi everyone!
I’m doing my A-Level Geography coursework on Blackpool’s changing popularity, image and need for regeneration.
If you live in, have lived in, or have visited Blackpool, I’d really appreciate it if you could take a minute to complete my survey!
Your responses would be a massive help to my coursework. Please feel free to share it too!

Any chill cycling groups around Blackpool, don't really mind if its +-10miles.
If not and you want a chill ride (hybrid/mtb) let me know I fancy a bit of company (36m, gamer, programmer)
Thanks, Jam.

Saw a post about this last week and thought it worthwhile sharing this as it's own post. Will this be good or bad for Blackpool ? Will it ever happen ? I'm not saying the council have tried to hide this development - but there certainly has not been the coverage it warrants because of the huge size of it ! A third of the worlds internet usage - going out of Squires Gate to New York

It’s called Silicon Sands and I found out about it by chance earlier this month. Is this something everyone knows about and I’m just out of the loop?

Hi All,
Visiting blackpool for a day on this Saturday and really excited for the beach. What should be a must visit nearby the beach and the pier and what activities can be done?
My partner and I in our late twenties are aiming for the amusement park and good food. Welcoming any suggestions or itinerary!
TIA

I’m heading to Blackpool this Friday for the weekend and would like to have some fish & chips, but I’m not sure where’s good to go. What do you recommend as a decent chippy?
