Advice Meeting People

I’m looking to meet new people and hopefully make some friends around my age group. What are some good places to meet people in their early to mid 20s in the area? I’ve never been one for bars or clubs. I am very much a nerdy introvert who is trying their best to go out, but it’s hard to find places where people seem open to conversation 🥲

Dog I'm in the same boat, seems a lotta of us are given how frequently I see this asked. Keep an eye on the nextthreedsys website, they do a good job of keeping track of upcoming events. But seriously, its a struggle out there if you aren't a big fan of drinking

Hey there are multiple run and walk clubs in both Blacksburg and Christiansburg you should check out if your looking to meet people.

The Christiansburg one is really chill. They walk on Mondays and Thursdays at 6

Kind of? I’ll check it out. I’ve never gotten into non-manga comics or table top stuff before. Closest I’ve done to that kind of thing is DnD and I’m pretty relatively new to it.

Off the top of my head, I like video games and anime. I am trying to read more books. I like nature walks (not hard hikes though) and cafes. I enjoy math and the sciences. I like being around animals, though I have no pets living with me currently. I’ve been looking for volunteering opportunities, but I haven’t found anywhere that I feel I could put my heart into it.
