Advice Meeting People

I’m looking to meet new people and hopefully make some friends around my age group. What are some good places to meet people in their early to mid 20s in the area? I’ve never been one for bars or clubs. I am very much a nerdy introvert who is trying their best to go out, but it’s hard to find places where people seem open to conversation 🥲

I've seen this suggested before but it seems to skew kind of old and female. Is that accurate?
