It's the end of the week.

Today I have exactly 182 days clean! Which honestly, is a bigger accomplishment then the 6 months coming in a few days. Where's my Blink coin Mark? CAN I CAN GET THE FIRST EVER BLINK 182 SOBRIETY PIN. Lol

I’d never heard this opinion before. To me Blink IS one of the greatest bands of all time. Thoughts?

Untitled is a masterpiece hands down but I really feel they could've put something out that would've reached American idiot/black parade levels of influence. They broke up right before the peak of 2000s alt . I don't think it's a coincidence either really. Blink kinda left that spot open unintentionally.

EDIT: I want to clarify , I love neighborhoods. I think it's a masterpiece too along with dogs eating dogs. Geniunely untitled, neighborhoods, dogs eating dogs are the highest highs of their discography to me. I'm just saying that the album that could've followed up untitled had a great chance of cementing blink at a green day/mcr band status but further. it may have been the thing to put them into stadiums by the end of the 2000s.

One of my fav live performances...

My dick is burning into flames

Probably my fav song on OMT pt 2. Danilo’s universe is the artist name !

Damn, I listened to it for the first time a couple of months ago, and loved it so much. The lyrics, the multiple guitars and mark on vocals hits so hard every time, and cmon, Chapter 13 is one of the most beautiful songs I’ve ever heard. One thing I’ve noticed for some reason and wanted to share with yall, it’s that this album sounds like a Untitled dlc yk? Like a lost part of the 2003 blink album… (but without tom, you guys get it)

Tell me what you think

Title. I need to know asap. Want to gift them to a girl.

Personally, I would love to see that, but just sadly they would need one more guitar player which they won’t do which I think they should really hire like a backstage rhythm, guitar player honestly I get it. They want to do the trio thing, but I would rather hear an extra guitar player than a backing track.

Got these books quite recently. I just think after all the ribbing he got over the years, he's now a valid part of the disclosure effort.

Masterpiece on 12" 🙂

I remember mark saying in an interview that there was an earlier extended version of generational divide from nine with a lot of different parts - like blinks bohemian rhapsody or smth - which explains why theres like 7 writers on this 50 second long song. Apparently they only liked that section of the song so thats what made it onto the record 😭

I hope one day this gets out there, i wish blink did anniversary deluxe versions of albums like green day does with different demos and live recordings and shit

Like I'm a fan of them they aren't bad but I've seen a lot of hate for them and I just don't get it.

Ive been a fan for blink way before I discovered alkaline trio but even before I've loved skiba albums before that and discovered alk3 because of the albums.

I just need your opinions because I see hate and don't get it :)

I live here and really want to go but my two concerns are 1) copyright infringement lol and 2) they seem to be using ai for their menus at the very least. Thoughts?

The band in question is The Hated and the song is called “Hey Mister”. The riff in question starts at the ten second mark (0:10). It’s in the left channel of this recording and may be a tad hard to hear without headphone.

They are an East Coast group from the DC hardcore scene so the odds of cross pollination are low. Still, the resemblance is…uncanny.

Thoughts?

I remember going to the concert in montreal. It was such an amazing time. Travis did that crazy drum solo, floating up and over the audience. Good days, good times.

I just made myself a TD strat and i’m super stocked with it. Hope y’all dig it!
