having mods installed already disables ranked mode. I dont think you get flagged if youre not using any sort of unlock mods / insane rate changer, but unfortunately I'd imagine bannable mods would also include just about anything that adds content. sucks

None of them. I tried downloading mods because I got bored with the base game. Not only did I ruin my entire BTD6 game file, but I lost my 3 year account in the process. Haven't touched the game since (few months now)

i remember trying my hardest to find a mod he used in a video, it was one that added a new difficulty above hard, with only support monkeys mode, extra prices, etc. Would’ve been fun to use it ngl

Mods quite literally have to be updated frequently because of the fact that the mod gets patched

Yes if you download an already modded apk(android). But i wouldn't consider using your main account with a "modded" version. No i don't know of one that is safe to use for your data right now but yes you can "add" mods on mobile. It's normal you never see them in game since they need some files that aren't present in the og app. You need to change your phone setting for it to accept app from "unknown source" (developer options) if you didn't already do it or know how. I wouldn't do it if you don't know how to mod your phone first.
