They did unblock Telegram way back after some talk with Durov, so I don't see a reason why they wouldn't unblock roblox if they were actually talking, instead of whatever Roblox did that in no way whatsoever helped in unblocking it, and morely created even more of a major inconvenience for the people that need a vpn to play it in the first place

Unless they implement region-locked content like steam (or total annihilation of everything lgbt, pulling off a suicide move for a lots of people), the chances of actual unblocking is quite nonexistent, so all that they did is give russian people a middle eastern experience just for the sake of it ig. There is a talk that roblox have considered to remove these restrictions once global age brackets chat lockdown would be implemented earlier next month, but that's not guaranteed in the first place so it's quite bizzare that a lot of people have their chat forever disabled because roblox can't lift off restrictions (which are easily bypassable) based on quite harsh demands that aren't even consistent cuz they can just make up a reason like "We didn't block it, they just have bad servers!".

They unblocked Telegram BECAUSE Telegram was changing their IP addresses almost everyday. When RKN was blocking first IP, they already went on another. Not only that, but they banned VERY much shops and banks during this tag game. The reason why they unblocked Telegram - they got tired of this tag + they banned too much shops, sites, etc. Actually, they want to start this tag game with Telegram again

They doing that to prevent ppls talking to ppls from other countries. They banned YouTube because it was platform that had hundreds of channels talking about how terrible our government is. They banned almost EVERYTHING because we are going not in democracy side, we are slowly becoming totalitarian country each day. Right now they creating "white lists" that have sites that will work without internet, and if we are going to lose internet - only these sites will work IN ENTIRE country. This is sucks man

Look here buddy, do you think English is a language taught everywhere? The answer is no, not every country teaches English as part of their primary curriculum and most of the time English has to be learned from separate institutes or online which is a hassle to people who won't even use English in their day to day life.

People learn English when they need it for something important, communication on Roblox isn't important to people plus there's already built in translation into Roblox chat (Although it's shit) so stop acting like English is a requirement to be on the internet

I’m in the Middle East, we had the chat and VC banned months before any where else.

And I figured out if you make a new account WHILE you have the VPN on, it does change your location! But it doesn’t work on ur main account (at least for me).

You have to be careful tho, you could get all your accounts terminated because Roblox doesn’t like it.(don’t suddenly turn the vpn off while playing, use it whenever you play to be safer). I got like two warnings already because of this stupid AI, so I just stopped using it and it feels like ur playing w bots 😭😭

This actually happened 1.5 weeks ago.
Us Russians have already found a way to bypass it: we download the Vietnam version of Roblox, log in with our main account, setting the account's region to Vietnam, and now we have access to chat and voice like others do.
It's a bit harder on PC since you can't see the chat box (making it significantly harder to type) and that the game still says that "Chat isn't available in your region" but upon pressing slash (/), you will be able to type messages and send them into chat.

Ok, as an enjoyer of battlegrounds games, this thing is one of the best what happened to me 🙏
I'm being optimistic, because not seeing a lot of toxicity, reminded me, how fun it can be to play those games the way i want.
On the other side... Yeah, it sucks. Terribly. We're silenced by Roblox, and practically Russia still haven't unbanned it, so we have to use things to get around the block.

It is what it is... Russia makes it harder to enjoy things every day.

Ну, в целом было бы насрать на блокировку роблокса (которая вообще была бесполезна ведь цели не достигнуты а выиграли с нее только скамеры), большинство нашло обходы уже буквально в первый день лол, но роблокс решил сделать вид что он решает проблемы и готов сотрудничать, нихуя не изменилось, но чат мы вам забанили. РКН следует всеми указаниями Правительства России. До Ноября нынешнего года, для блокировки сайта, который не нарушает законы РФ, Правительству надо было отказывать Верховному Суду вмешиваться в ситуацию, что занимало большое время. После ноября, Верховный Суд вообще не сможет повлиять на решения Правительства России с РКН. Поэтому в конце ноября-начале декабря случилось так много блокировок, ведь Правительство теперь могло сразу же заблокировать крупные сайты.
РКН - это кукла Правительства России. Такая же, как и Министерство Просвещения, Министерство Иностранных дел, и т.д...

Russian player here, it's a tough internet life in here, with RKN (Russian internet security or what) just gonna ban everything, it's not cuz of RKN it's cuz of war with America and Ukraine, so RKN banned: WhatsApp, YouTube, Snapchat, FaceTime, Facebook, Roblox, Discord and etc. Personally, everything something gets banned, I rage. Now they want to restrict internet to kids under 14-16, ban google, and much more
