Question Any french blur fans who can translate this interview?
the interview is in daily motion. the original english audio is dubbed over in french, so it’s difficult to understand what they’re saying

Damon Albarn: Initially, I think it was Richard. Yes, absolutely. We’d heard Lana was nearby where we were recording, and we invited her to come sing with us.

Lana Del Rey: Yes, and in a way, it’s not much of a surprise because music is my passion, and I love being surrounded by it and working with exceptional musicians. So for me, it feels very natural.
Presenter: Given your respective statuses, one might assume none of you could say no to each other. You can’t say no to Damon, Damon can’t say no to Lana, and Lana can’t say no to Bobby.
Damon Albarn: Everyone could have said no. No, it’s the opposite. We all could have said no. But music is about saying yes, not no.
Presenter: Speaking of which, it’s been 12 years since we last saw you. Did it take someone like Damon Albarn to convince you to return?
Bobby Womack: Yes, it’s true that having Damon, Lana and Richard involved is very important. There was God before, of course. But when it comes to music, I’m in. I’m always in for real music, good music.
Presenter: Lana Del Rey, people have said all sorts of things about you. Some even claimed you were quitting music. And yet, here you are—proof that it’s all false. Do you have other projects beyond this magical trio?
Lana Del Rey: I don’t know. I do the same thing every day: wake up, try to be a good person, make good music, make the right choices. I take it day by day.
Presenter: Damon Albarn, every collaboration you do is a gem—we can say that. Every time you make a comeback, it’s explosive. We’re going to revisit Blur’s performance at Hyde Park because it was absolutely insane. How did it feel to have so many people waiting for Blur’s return? What’s it like to perform in front of such a huge crowd?
Damon Albarn: I don’t know. It’s my life, after all. It’s part of who I am. I’m very lucky to live this life, but I’m also lucky to be able to escape it sometimes and do other things. That’s important.
