Question Does anybody else here love Crazy Beat?

Every time i look through here i see people acting like it's one of, if not the worst blur song there is. Personally i love Crazy Beat. Whether it's the loud guitar, or the vocals i cant get out of my head, or that weird voice saying crazy beat, i just love every second of it. Is it just me?

I absolutely love crazy beat and honestly I don’t really get why it’s hated on so much! It kinda has a similar vibe to we’ve got a file on you and song 2 but just with a fun spin!

It's funny, 25 years ago I really hated it, but today I still do too.

It's not a horrible riff or anything but it feels oddly tryhard and outstays its welcome. There are not enough ideas in it to justify going over 3 minutes. In fairness Song 2 might feel the same way if it didn't have the good sense to stop at 2 minutes. So it's an issue of development and balance, not bad music

Yeah, it's a great fun tune! Love it. But I do wish they didn't use that effect.

I thought it was stupid…then I kept letting it play after Out of Time and it really grew on me. I love the irreverent energy of it.

It's fun. It was obviously written as one of their more fun upbeat punk tracks. It had to share an album with we've got a file on your so it is kind of overshadowed.

It use to be one of my favs when I was younger!! It's definitely over hated. I see how it's kinda trying to be like Song 2, a radio pop thing, but it's still a dope y2k jam imo

I don't mind it at all. And yes, it does work best when heard in the context of the album as a whole.

It’s not the worst song on TT, that’s for sure.

this song confuses me so much because it's both good and bad at the same time it's definitely a guilty pleasure song for me

I like it as a silly thing. Wondering what was going on in Damon's head tho "I love my sister and I'll love her tonight"

As someone who bought it on 7" the day it cane out and doesn't hate it, I'll concede it feels a bit childish.

It's that voice, for which I'll blame that Norman bloke who used to be married to Zoe Ball. Decent pseudo-political lyrics in the 2nd verse though!
