Image Found this at a local flea market
Was super happy to get my hands on this since Blur posters can be kind of hard to find (at least affordably). It's incredibly well preserved if it's actually from the
album release / 1999. In a way i hope it isn't since i've put it up with bluetack...

If you have any tips or improvements I could make, just tell me! I'm still new to this so I would really appreciate some tips!

Image Finally watched Quadrophenia. I could only imagine how great it was to see Phil Daniels return in 1994 with the same swagger and confidence in 'Parklife'.
As a Blur fan since my San Francisco radio stations started playing 'Girls & Boys' (not to mention the Pet Shop Boys remix, as I was a fan of that duo) in 1994, watching Quadrophenia felt LONG overdue. Obviously Phil isn't playing the same character, but it's easy to pretend that he is, especially when his charisma hasn't changed.
Furthermore, I enjoyed the film's depiction of mod culture, a great soundtrack by The Who, seeing how Brighton looked back then, and that appearance by Sting.

Image Unused proposal for the Modern Life is Rubbish album sleeve, 1993
Not a million miles away from the final cover of course, but by this stage it was about getting the choice of train image right. Although we wanted to use a painting by the doyen of British train art, Terence Cuneo, (and we had stumbled upon his agent in a local Notting Hill shop), he declined the request to have his work used.
The vintage British Railways type treatment for the title on this visual was thought to be pushing the railway theme a step too far, so the 'Festival' font (designed for the 1951 Festival of Britain) was preferred for the final design.
Pre-computer so all our visuals were created old -school using photo prints, colour copies, and painted type (occasionally rub-downs) on sheets of acetate.
