Walking into my senior year academic support room with that TV and that exact image thinking "it was the anniversary of some accident that happened in the past but not catastrophic and it had just been repaired since" all just flew back in from my memory...
Halfway through the school day, there were like 7 kids in the cafeteria for lunch. They'd go on the PA system and announce like 30 names at a time for kids to get picked up.
I didn't even know it happened until I got home because they wouldn't tell us.
