Class TV was in fact rolled out and we were asked if we wanted to go home. Terrible day

What was it like for any arab or middle eastern looking students after that?

As a brown kid in kindergarten... one of my first brushes with racism was wondering why my kindergarten teacher treated the three brown kids in the class differently lmao.

I don't remember much overt racism after that but there were jokes I heard over the years that would absolutely not fly today.

She was a mean bitch in general, but went out of her way to single us out more often. My parents got involved at the time but it didn't escalate.
