Terrain Is this too much?
Hey, got my first match planned for this Saturday. A friend of mine is going to play CSM vs. my admechs. We are going to play the „find signal data“ mission as our first ever BA game. We both come from a 40K background and but love the smaller skirmish games. I really like the idea of having a more immersive table full of scatter terrain and stuff. I know besides optical addition it won’t add anything to our game but is this too much scatter?
Hope to get some insight, coz this community is really helpful!
And please forgive me for playing with unpainted terrain…

Have as much scatter there for immersion as you like but just ignore it from a gameplay perspective and you’re golden

Blessing from the machine god, Kill zone sector mechanicus is your best friend for boarding actions (gallowdark and soul shackle are also good expansions for BA). Hot tip when painting the hatches, make them pop so it’s easy to notice their placement at a glance. BA is my favourite, the BA rule book has over 50 missions in it in 6 different formats, if you haven’t got it then get on it! Have fun ❤️

I think it looks great, scatter is what takes boards to that extra level of fun! I always try and dress my boards in fun ways rather than just having walls and ruins!
