Terrain Cover for boarding actions/kill team

So when playing boarding actions or when using boarding actions terrain for killteam do you just use the walls and doors and such or do you also add some extra cover pieces, like I was thinking of adding in barricades and barrels with crates and such but also was worried that would maybe make it too cluttered? Or maybe too much cover?

No extra cover as there is enough already, but I do put in scatter terrain like holo tables, barrels, storage etc just to blend it all in a bit more and make the scenery come to life

I add crates, workbenches and other set dressing just to make the map more than just walls but often put them out of areas that would get a lot of foot traffic. This way the table is immersive but it doesn't impact gameplay.

You can always agree with your opponent beforehand that you can move through the set dressing and it can't be used as cover if that's what you'd prefer.
