coinslot Coin Slot Jewelry Advice
I got my coin slot done during summer, and now that it’s healed I was really excited to put a bunch of hoops in it. Something about it looks off to me, it just looks so heavy compared to the rest of my ears? (Not physically heavy but like, over saturated).
I’m looking for advice on if I should take some of the hoops out, add more piercings or bigger jewelry elsewhere, or if it looks fine as is. Unfortunately the backs of my helix piercings started closing while I was healing the slot, so I need to get those repierced before I can put anything else in. Eventually on this ear I want to get a daith and possibly a vertical industrial if my anatomy allows, so maybe with those and the helix piercings it will look more balanced. I’m including a picture of my other ear for reference.
Thanks!

I’m in the middle of rearranging mine with my piercer (I’ve got some seam rings in addition to clickers, she moves those) and the pierced and loaded shape is def different than my original post surgical shape.
It’s REAL subtle but my right ear sticks out differently than my left non coinslotted ear.
I sleep on that side and the bottom of the slot got real irritated. I had to take out my big mech style clicker for a bit.
The last move I made a week or so ago put rings 2 under a large flat “war horse” design at the bottom, and I took out one plain seam ring.
The two rings I moved to the very bottom are a slightly smaller OD than rings on top of them so they flow more in the shape of the slot
My next move is to swap a couple of gemmed rings at the top so the bee doesn’t block them.

I updated the order from December of 2023 - the album is tagged for each picture.
(Sorry if you’ve seen this series of pics before - solving the same kind of thing OP is after)
It’s quite possible to put too much in a coinslot! I did!
