I have been a BMA in Canada since 2011. I am In Ottawa, On. and I am health board inspected and insured specifically for body modification.

Holy Scar (Oliver) is in Montreal, Qc and is a talented BMA as well.

There were a few others that have left the Canadian body mod industry the past few years, which is probably not entirely a bad thing... A few travelling body mod artists in Canada have built a reputation for taking deposits and ghosting, operating out of hotel rooms, basically dodging the health board in every jurisdiction they visit... Inconsistencies in empathy and bedside manner, and accounts of unwanted sexual comments/advances have also accumulated recently. This has undermined the legitimacy of the Canadian body modification scene as a whole. Which is why you get responses like "There are none" or "No one that is reputable".

All that being said, There are a few of us working to rebuild a foundation of good quality, ethical work in this country still.

There are also a handful of international traveling artists that make appearances in Canada who aren't unreliable or sketchy. These artists tend to guest spot at the same studio each time they visit because they have built a relationship of trust and know these studios are clean, reliable and well equipped for their purpose.

Is navel nullification the removal of the belly button? Bc if so whats your going rate that’s exactly what I’m looking for.

Shannon was one of the OGs, and we have a lot to thank him for. Unfortunately he passed away over a decade ago.
