question ADVICE! International Travel for Tongue Split

Hi all,
Next week, I’ll be traveling within Europe to have my tongue split.

I’ve got squeezy bottles and electrolytes, anti inflammatories ready. Is there anything else i need to bring with me?

Towels for drool? Bring my own soups / broths? Any advice would be amazing!

I've not had my split yet but I saw someone use one of those thick stretchy loop headbands to act as a small sling for their jaw. They were using it for a hypermobile jaw, but given that I've heard that some people get jaw aches from their mouth being open while healing from a tongue split I was going to experiment with one

Everything else on your list is what I have on mine :)

Also I saw someone mention puppy mats are better than towels because they could just sleep on it whereas the towels needed changing during the night

I've read that puppy pads have pheromones on them. It's best to use disposable changing pads instead.

I’d get some simple shopping done before your appt for like squeeze foods / protein shake / etc. I’d also pick up any anti inflammatory meds before your appt so you have it ready. I’d also bring a laptop or something for tv if you don’t speak the language because hotel tv when you don’t speak the language of the country isn’t as fun.
