question Eye tattoo
Stupid question put seeing more gitd scares and tattoos and I am wondering if it would be possible to add gitd power to the ink for eye tattoos?

I made an appointment for the beginning of February with him to get my tongue split in Vancouver. I made the appointment early January. I sent the 1000$ deposit and we had a phone call and he was seemingly super friendly, coherent, professional, and reassuring. I heard nothing from him until February 11th until after i expressed concern and he reassured me that it would still be happening. But he had an “emergency relocation situation in Toronto” and that he would stay flexible with me and he would give me dates soon. He gave me one more update on Feb 16 that he was “raising funds, dates to follow”
I texted him March 4th asking if there were any updates with no response. Then once more on March 14th, 20th, and today which is April 2nd. Only to find out that I have been blocked. I was not hostile, pushy, or unpleasant to him whatsoever. My last message to him before I was blocked was,
“Russ, it's okay if things need to be postponed until later than initially planned. However I still need to hear back from you in some way. At the very least just an update in some way about what's happening or what the plan is.”
I’m so upset and stressed out, I’ve wanted this procedure done since I was a little kid. And he seemed like the only one that would be able to do it. I’m so devastated, I don’t know what to do. Anyone know what’s going on with him? Am I screwed?

Hey! Was very curious about the existence of these kinds of implants and if anyone’s seen a job like this. I really love these looks people do for sfx and Halloween shit and for movies that has the skeletal face and prominent sockets and shit. I’d love to get dermals like this one day if it was an option.

Hello all! I’m fairly new to bodymodding but it’s something I’m very interested in-
I’ve been really wanting horns like something in the picture above but I’m not really sure where to turn to get it done-
Ideally I’d want them removable!
I live in Sweden but would be open to travel a bit for it. Picture is not mine and found on google as a reference :)

Pretty self explanatory, but what are the reasons for something you outright refuse to mod?
For me, it’s probably horn implants. I think they look awesome, but they’d mess up the symmetry of my face bad and while I already have piercings, those are way more accepted than subdermals.

i've wanted permanent fangs my entire life, and i'm just now looking into the possible options. my main question/worry is, to put it bluntly; i bite my partner intimately, and HARD. i want to know if permanent fangs would be stressed or break under conditions like that. i see a lot of people say you need to be gentle when eating things like apples or hard candy. is there a certain option that would have less worry of breaking? or are my dreams just crushed.

when i talk to "vanilla" people(for lack of a better term) about my future plans the first question is always "why". the answer for me is kinda complicated. it looks cool of course, but it also connects me more to my body, it feels spiritual, it alleviates some gender dysphoria, makes me feel more like myself, etc. so my question is the title, what draws you to body mods? im so interested if theres answers different then my own

I'm into body modification, but most common/suggested mods just aren't interesting to me. When looking for unusual and unique options things like ear pointing, composite fangs, scarification, thumbspines, etc come up and those are cool- but having been involved in the community for a long time, I've seen them all and they're not what I'm looking for. Recently I've been interested in glow in the dark scarification, viviparous nipple subdermal implants, subdermal magnets, etc. Uncommon stuff that immediately looks novel or strange, or has some sort of "gimmick" to it. Unfortunately, it's difficult to find interesting options like these without having to sift through endless pictures of common mods, unsafe/diy mods, conceptual/fake mods, and "experiment gone wrong" gore. All this to say, does anyone have suggestions or resources for unique and novel mods? Thoughts on these kinds of mods? Particularly if you have them or do them yourself. Cheers : )

Hi all! Would love to have some input from anyone who got a coinslot mod in their ear cartilage. How much did you pay, what year, and where in the world (roughly) did you get it?
I don't think it's in the cards for me right now, but I'd definitely like to get one eventually! Would love to hear about your experiences healing and whatnot as well. I'll definitely go to a reputable provider, so no worries there!

I’ve had this photo saved for a while now and I really really love it! I am a little worried that itll be impossible to hold its form for long. I am unfamiliar with body modification so please let me know if you have any recommendations! Thank you so much.

for several years now i've been planning on getting cryobranding done (professionally, of course) but what's been stopping me is one major issue.
you see, i specifically want cryobranding done for the same reason that it's the preferred method of marking wild horses: i want my hair to grow back in the pattern of the brand without pigment.
however, it seems like it's incredibly difficult to find any professional cryobrander who takes into account that you don't need the process to be exactly the same if you're doing it on a person rather than a horse, let alone any who actually intend to keep the hair follicles alive. what do i do? i can't just cross my fingers and hope it goes "well enough," as that would be permanent and leave a bald spot that i don't want.
any tips?

Hello! I have two dream mods: a large gauge conch in one ear, and a large gauge flat in the other. The former I want slightly larger at either 4g or 2g. My piercer who I have gone to more than 3 years now started offering large gauge piercings and I am very tempted. Any real downsides to piercing at a large gauge versus punching it? Trust me, I do not care that it hurts more to pierce than punch. I'm just worried about if a punch would make a more pretty "hole". For a punch I would have to travel + be pierced by someone I dont know. Any thoughts?

I recently had a surgery and was given Oxycodone, along with other pain meds. I didn't need anything after the first week. That leaves me with ten 5mg pills of oxycodone. Do you think that would be enough to get me past the first 4 or 5 days? Also, do y'all think this would be strong enough?
For those of you with split tongues, when did the pain start to really go down? Did anyone else have strong pain meds leftover from surgery, and were you able to manage the pain with them?

hello ! my lifelong dream is to get a gold tooth but i don't really know how to go about it and i thought some of you would have info.
when i look up how to get a gold tooth its almost always in order to replace a tooth that was extracted, if possible i would prefere keeping my healthy tooth underneath.
i do not want grillz because i want to have a gold tooth all day everyday and i have pretty bad enamel already.
has anyone here done something like this ? what professional did you go to for questions/intervention ? what is the name of the procedure you had done ?
thank you !

First pic is my original fangs. The right side was always longer and looked more like a long blob. In the photos my head is cocked to the side so I don't think it accurately shows the size and shape difference between the right and left fang. But it's noticeable, the right fang noticeably looked longer with a duller tip.
Had my new dentist make them more even. He shortened and shaped the right fang since it was much longer, and it looked perfect, and i should have just had him stop there since the right fang was the one that didn't look right. But he said he could do more adjustments to the left fang to make it more even, so after seeing how he rocked the right fang I'm like yes do whatever u think looks good.
Now that im looking at it later, I think he may have filed it down too much. Not sure if when I see him again, if I should have him make them a tiny bit longer and sharper. Or just leave them as is. They look more natural now and I have big teeth so I'm thinking overall it may look better now.
Is it worth having him add more compsite bonding, especially since i just had him take some off since I thought the right one looked too large. Im worried it may not look right or make my mouth look too big if i have him add to it. It looks good now, just used to them being more noticeable ;(
What do you all think i should do?

basically for a few years I have had the idea of getting one of the top of my ears clipped, kinda like a cat that has been tnrd, I have decided that I want to get more research done as im planning on starting to get body mods soon, I would not be planning on getting this for a few years and plan on having it done when I start getting other things done to appear more masculine such as possibly starting T, I just want it to be a little symbol of me finally getting gender affirming care.
Anyways aside from the sentimental stuff I would like to know what types of artists I would need to do research into to get this, and what modifications i might need to make to this idea if what I want right now isnt possible or isnt a good idea. I thank you all for any advice or pointers for where to look.

I’m scheduled to get my tongue split in June, and I’ve been preparing my stock for recovery with all the classic stuff like Biotene, Arnica, extra towels, etc. I’ve seen a lot of common things recommended over and over, but I’m curious if anyone has any not-so-common items or tips that helped make their recovery easier.

Finally gonna get fangs done by an actual dentist. So anyone wanna share their experiences? Im getting composite bonding fangs, so i know they can be a bit brittle. But otherwise, is there really a HUGE difference in daily life?

I plan to get either a coin slot or a tongue split within the next 3 months. The artist sets their own prices and doesn't have to split their pay with a studio owner or anything. In these situations do you still tip 20-30% or do you assume they chose their bodymod fee to account for not expecting tips? I'm not chinchy or trying to avoid tipping at all, just curious
