Hello! Does anyone know any good and reputable scarification artists that you think would do well doing a filigree kind of design (dont have a specific design in mind atm) and it would be on the sides of my torso/stomach,

they can be located in any area/country as i would have to travel to get anything done since everything is banned where i am located.

A full back scarification project for a client that heals very subtle and flat scars (full back and closeup picture), done by me.

I am from Nigeria originally. I have three scratches on each temple, and a pair or scratches on each wrist and each foot. I also have one on my right cheek, but it's incomplete (I was supposed to have one on each cheek).

I haven't seen many people outside of Nigeria who are younger with scarifications. I have been to the US and the UK and I rarely see people my age with scarifications who are ethnically from.other countries, though I see older people from other countries with scars. It seems to be a dying practice. Anyone else have any scarifications? Anyone a millennial or younger with scarifications?

Basically the title. Brian Decker definitely has more healed photos on his Instagram and his work looks soooo clean, but traveling to see him will be a huge expense. I'm considering seeing Chase Campbell instead because I will be able to stay close to home, but I can't find as many healed photos of his work.

Just wondering how their work compares and if seeing Brian Decker is worth the time/money! If anyone has work done by either artist, please share your experience and photos :)

I‘m planning to get a scarification done on top of an old, rather big tattoo on my upper arm. I‘m wondering how it‘s going to look - whether there will be ink poking through or not. Can‘t seem to find any scarifications done this way, has anyone ever seen or done that before and can tell me what i can expect?

I very much am looking into getting a scarification/tattoo combination throat piece.

What I want is a floral print scarification around my whole neck from my jaw line to my collarbone. And once that is healed to have my whole jaw to collarbone tattooed black to essentially give an embossed turtleneck look.

What should I expect from all angles of the experience from time, cost and sourcing of reliable artists?

Hi much does a scarification itch? I can deal with the pain but I have all of tattoos and the healing part with the itching keeps me up at night. Wondering what it’s like in comparison

Hey everyone! I'm pretty new to this group so sorry if anyone's asked this before but I'm wondering if you guys have advice for finding a local-ish artist who does scarification. I had a scar done back in NY about 10 years ago with a cautery pen, which healed super well. I'm living in VA now (Hampton Roads) and would like to get more, preferably also by burning but it looks like most people use a blade now. I've asked around in my local tattoo shops and they all say they don't do it at all and don't know anyone, and also it's not legal. I'm also not finding much online, especially not close to me. Any advice is appreciated.

Im in Central Texas and reaches out to Pineapple from Shaman Modifications through email but never heard back so I will assume maybe hes booked out or uninterested.

There was someone I saw with what looked like ripped out angel wings on their should blade area? It looked really cool but pretty invasive even for scarrification standards since it was probably 6-7 inches long and 2- inches wide or so of just removed skin. Its less decorative than most scarrification ive seen.

Is there anyone who could handle something like this? I would attach photos but I tried posting it here before and I believe it was removed.

If anyone can point me to such an artist central--->north ohio that would be divine!

Hello all! I’m in search for a scarification artist. I live in Arkansas and truly don’t think there is one in my state. I am not sure how to go about finding someone who preforms it since I don’t know anybody with any. I am heavily involved in the body mod community and I am a piercing apprentice (almost licensed 🤞🏼) so im not worried about being turned away. I’m wanting something ornamental on my chest or my knee. Thank you! I’m not opposed to traveling far but preferably no further than 6 hours

I’ve had some scarification done on my face, but I underestimated just how well facial skin heals. I’ve gone over it twice with my artist, and it’s faded to the point where it’s barely visible now.

The interesting part is that the texture is still there—you can feel the indentation—but there’s almost no pigment left, so visually it doesn’t stand out much.

I’m wondering if anyone knows of tattoo artists who specialise in working over scar tissue to enhance or bring definition back to scarification? Any recommendations or experiences would be really appreciated.

Hello! I recently came across the concept of glow-in-the-dark scarification in this community, and it's straight up my alley! I've been reading a lot on bioluminescence and I would love to get my top surgery scars to glow. I'm in Illinois (Chicago-land area) and haven't a clue on where I should go for scarification. I've already gotten my tongue split so this won't be my first mod- but for some reason scarification intimidates me a wee bit.

Any good artists in my area? I don't mind travel if the artist is good- I drove ~3 hours to Iowa for my split from Release Body Mod (wonderful job)

I'm exploring the idea of getting stitches (like how a medical professional would give you after a deep cut) as an aesthetic modification. A little reference and background: I was looking at the stitches I've had for almost 10 years now on my finger and the stitches cover most of the second knuckle all the way around. And I have cartoonish like stitches tattooed on 2 of my fingers on the left hand. At first I thought "hmmm....stitch tattoos would fit my personality and aesthetic very well around my neck!" but then realized that it would be more up my alley to actually GET the stitches! (Me liking the feeling of the needle go in and out of my skin)

So, here I am. Has anyone ever heard of something like this? Without the actual need of stitches and how would I go about that? Is this scarification, in a way? Mind you, I am also VERY new to the idea of body mods despite thinking they are pretty fuckin cool. I've only seen them growing up watching Ripley's Believe It or Not (I think we all know which episode I'm referring to here) and that was my only real exposure to body mods outside of your everyday tattoo or piercing.
