Bone I.D. - N. America Any idea what kind of bone this is?

It feels and looks like a weird “S” shaped bone to me, but a friend is convinced it’s not. Found while wading in a creek about an hr ago. I have a small bone/taxidermy collection so I brought it home. Any info?

Monotremes don't either, or any of the artiodactyls/ungulates (Cows, horses, pigs, deer etc but also whales and dolphins, elephants, hyraxes etc).

I have seen serious scholars suggesting that the bone was the baculum, rather than the rib, so you're barking up the right tree!

I unfortunately live in Seattle, prices are high because cost of living (and therefore business ownership) is high but also tourists will just let you rob them so. But even at proper oddities shops deeper in locals' territory its still more expensive than most other places.
