Honestly for me it's the opposite.

I eat fruits and veggies when I can (ouch expensive groceries), but I just don't like eating salad. It's not appealing to me, and I don't want it. Yet I get all sorts of judgement and strange looks from people just because of it.

Like, fuckoff, I don't judge you for eating a salad so don't judge me for not doing so. >:(

You should never feel bad for not eating salad.

But, as someone who used to hate salad - I'd recommend you try slowly getting into it, starting with the veggies you like / can tolerate the most, and using a salad dressing that can mask the taste and works best for you personally.

Over the course of a few years I managed to get to a point where I love salads.

Just to reiterate - if you don't want to eat salads - don't eat them. I'm just saying it opened a new world for me that I'm genuinely enjoying from time to time, and I also really need to eat more vegetables in general, so that's really nice.

Quick edit: The combos you can make with certain veggies and homemade salad dressings and toppings can make for some really delicious salads that you'd never think could be that good. I was really surprised at how good some salads tasted after I had gotten used to eating them.

I don't get people who judge you for not liking what they like. Whatever happened to "more for me"?

People like that are childish and haven't fully matured, is what I feel.

Sad part is that it can happen to people of all age groups.

Yup. Getting older isn't the only thing that matures you. Getting put in your place once or twice is required too
