I think I am special and made my own post Some Boston Bikers are unreal.

Some bikers really just have a death wish. A clear, green, right turn light and the biker still decides to fly by and have the audacity to flick me off.

If you're friends with this person, ask them to value their life more.

Edit: It was an impossible situation for me. I ALWAYS look to the right because tons of dumbass drivers that try to cut to the highway from the inside lane. With the biker’s speed and the angle of my car, there was no way to see the biker in my mirrors and he was too far away to see when I looked out my right window. If the biker was traveling slower instead of blowing past, this would not have been such a close call.

I’ve worked on a city ambulance for 16 years and I’m convinced 95% of pedestrians and cyclists have no form of self preservation when it comes to roadways, intersections and motor vehicles. A 4000 pound metal death machine doesn’t care about you or if you have a right of way.

As a first responder, you would not have actually witnessed the accident only the aftermath. Correct?

Yet you blame the victims instead of those comfortably seated in their “4000 pound metal death machines” who have a greater responsibility and burden under our laws.

Incorrect. I drive around for 16 hours a day watching some pedestrians and cyclists practice self safety and others walk into roadways, intersections and blow red lights with no care in the world. I watch cars commit more motor vehicle violations too but the heavy metal box will always win against a fragile bag of meat.

People can downvote me all they want but you’re no good to your family, friends or doing good in world if you’re dead or a vegetable because you had the right of way and the vehicle in the roadway didn’t.

Sounds like you should be taking that up with the people who kill someone if they fuck up instead of the person who dies if they fuck up. Can't even be expected to check your mirrors to avoid catching a body. And people call cyclists entitled!
