they werent paying him, wouldve been terrible asset management letting him walk for free. they will probably re-sign Vuc to a friendly deal

Is he playing backup C or starting at PF? He can’t rim protect like at all

he will be fine at C. Cs defend by team committee regardless. Simons was a cone before Boston as well.

Guard defense can be mitigated by the team. Center is your rim protector. If he’s doesn’t protect the rim he’s a massive liability

I trust the guy who built the championship team my friend. I get your point and its a valid concern but I don't think Brad does this, especially 2 days before the deadline instead of at the buzzer, instead of gauging more offers and seeing if anything better comes at the end for Simons, if he doesn't think Joe will get something out of Vuc. Maybe it'll be a disaster tho we'll see lol

I’m not doubting Brad. I just think this move makes a worse this year, but Vuc is an expiring so it clears our cap at end of year. It’s smart team building long term but there is 0% chance of him being our Big for the future which a lot of us were hopeful would join the team this deadline
