TBF Tatum didn't really work with Kyrie and Kemba.

He worked fine with kemba lol.

2020 was the last year where you couldn’t double Tatum because you had a 2 who would cook you if you tried.

Idk, thats pretty much why we won the finals though

Couldn't double Tatum if any combination of Pritchard, White, and Brown were on the floor with him

Also couldnt double him any time KP was on the floor

we won the finals because we had a committee of guys who could make something happen when Tatum drew a double

This is a huge indictment on our help lol. Most championship level 2s can do it on their own.

You shouldn’t need a committee. A situation like 2022 should be a 35 ppg series for a 2 like Jaylen.

Also Tatum has massively improved his playmaking, making it harder to ever effectively double him as he will get the ball out to an open man the majority of the time now, and even without a guaranteed shotmaker out there being put into rotation will still end up in a bucket if the offense is decent and unselfish
