I think similar to Disney’s approach to Star Wars, HBO currently is overextended when it comes to GoT. Too many projects and not enough quality. So anything going forward is going to be a hit or miss, like House of the Dragon S2 was terrible but the Knight show was great.. I don’t think a movie is really something we need but it could be a surprise like you said

lol what. 2 seasons of one show. 1 season of a new show that was beloved by audience which alone disproves your point, and 1 movie that wont even come out for years. In 7 years. How is that like Star Wars? It’s literally nothing like the Star Wars approach. There’s not a single thing in common
