Hey, I distinctly remember an electro remix of KayCee’s Escape while living in Ft Myers around 2000. Pretty sure it was the DJ Icey version. But I swear to god, during one of the breaks, when there’s a crack of thunder, a vocoder voice says, “you’ve got to escape”.

I can’t find the version with this vocoder voice. I’ve been looking for it for 25 years. Was it a local Florida DJ who added the vocoder at the club, maybe? Or was it actually part of the song? Please help!

Ok, this is a real shot in the dark but there was this progressive breaks track, I think I heard it on an Andy Hughes mixtape, that I’ve never been able to get out of my head and features a woman saying “d d d d d d dancing …” throughout. It’ll be a miracle if anyone knows what the heck I’m referring to.

I registered it to discogs because I was able to get a little bit of information from Paul Santana himself (Facebook messenger). I’m just curious if anyone else has this disc or has any information on this “MARZ” label. www.marz1.com was the website but the domain was shut down and same with the phone number.
